In the heart of St-Luc, this old village bathed in the light of the altitudes, pianist and composer François Lindemann presents a concert like no other: a veritable happening in sound and poetry, at the crossroads of live performance and historical painting.

This original project offers a journey into our collective memory, an acoustic landscape of yesteryear, an immersive experience that begins... in the street.

From the very first minutes, the audience will be plunged into a rhythmic universe that pays tribute to the crafts and trades of yesteryear, skills that have often been forgotten. The sound of saws, hammers on metal, the clatter of a sewing machine, the rubbing of hand-washed linen - a kaleidoscope of familiar sounds, reinterpreted like a living score. This auditory prelude, both raw and alive, connects us to a shared memory, to the sounds of effort and daily life that shape the identity of a place. Cyril Regamey will lead the procession on drums and percussion, accompanied by Jean-Jacques Pedretti on alphorn. Together, they will carry the audience to the village church. The ‘Échos Spirituels’ concert will then begin, featuring François Lindemann on piano, Guillaume Perret on saxophone and Heiri Känzig on double bass.

The Fifres et Tambours will also be integrated, bringing a breath of tradition to this evolving soundtrack.

Between sounds of the past and creations of the present, this unique day is a celebration of listening, of the link between people, places and ages. The echo of a suspended moment.
