Alpine melodies form the basis of the trio’s repertoire. They draw on Swiss, Italian and Austrian folk traditions
Far from a traditional interpretation, the improvisers take the liberty of reworking, breaking down and reassembling these pieces of Alpine heritage. The instrumentation itself also brings a wealth of new textures. It comprises a keyboard, wind instruments and percussion that is as diverse as it is original. Thanks to its location and unique vantage point, the Tignousa site lends itself particularly well to this type of performance. We can expect a few traditional tunes from the Val d’Anniviers, skilfully reworked, to feature in the trio’s programme.
