Sunspots, protuberances, the Sun is a fascinating star...

Discover the workings and moods of our star through a range of commented observations: the heliostat projects a live image of the Sun onto a screen; the spectrograph breaks down the light from the star of the day into an indoor rainbow packed with information! Finally, the 150mm-diameter solar telescope with selective filter will reveal the pulsating activity of our star's outer layers.

If the weather is bad, a lecture on the Sun with a commentary on the most recent satellite images will replace the observation session. The sessions will therefore take place even in bad weather.
